It’s Back To Business:

May29

We are Starting to organize our lives for you as well as for ourselves.

We just got back from a second honeymoon, if you will, from Key West Florida. It was relaxing, rejuvenating, rebuilding, and everything we needed before we start up the hard work that we have ahead of us. The plan for us was to get back from Key West and take one week to get organized, start business activities, build blogs and web sites, etc. So that is what we are doing and the week is almost over. As of Monday, we will be pushing ourselves every day to become what we want and need, People with Choices. [Money is what gives us the ability to make any and every choice we see fit, so that is what we are working towards. If you think differently, tell us your mindset.]

Our blog is being built daily and we are adding different areas to make it what we both want, a Full Course Meal.

Things we did today to push our business forward:

We just had some very bad weather with tornadoes, that knocked down a bunch of trees, so we picked up some cut up sections of trees to make things with (like end tables, etc.) and sell them. [not a super fast money maker, requires sweat equity and creativity, but little to no cost]
Joined Amazon Associates to link things on our site to their site. If you decide you want to click on a book link and buy it from amazon.com, then we get a percentage of the sale. [10 minute signup @ http://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join, and well worth the time if you have people that respect your thoughts and suggestions. For us we won’t see anything until our blog is a little more read.]

The First Post:

May28

Hello all, My name is Chais Meyer and my Wife’s name is Shawna Meyer. We started this site to, 1) Push ourselves to grow in all aspects of business as well as in our personal life. 2) (the scary reason) To put the truth out in the open about our business and personal financial situations and where we are currently.

The second reason is scary to us because, in everyday life people hide all information about money and everything else that is personal. We are not supposed to talk about how much is in our bank account, how much we make an hour, what our mortgage payment or other debts are, and we are going to be breaking those rules. Some of the things that we will be sharing are going to be: the ups and downs in our relationship as well as professionally, all or our financials from our debts to our income & monthly expenses, business strategies, & personal and professional successes and failures, etc.

This is the first Blog post for the Full Course Meal site. We are diving into our own business ventures and are scared shitless.

This thing about going out on your own in business, breaking out of your routine/comfort zone, and challenging everything the education system has taught us (which is to be good employees for our good employers), doesn’t feel natural but needs to happen (for us at least).

I don’t think there is anything wrong with being an employee. However, I do believe that if you know your better than your current situation in life, than you need to get out, and make what you want to happen. (this quote is on our bathroom mirror so we see it ever day, “Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius power and magic in it.” – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)

Take the risk, take the leap, and work hard to get what you need out of life. For us, We need Choices.
